Sahayata Trust works for the empowerment of society. The trust focuses on bettering the lives of orphans, widows and under-privileged citizens. We believe in equality, justice and better futures for all. The generous support of our donors enables us to assist the deprived. We initiated the following programs to help the needy.

Our Programs

Feeding Program

Through our feeding program, we provide cooked meals and groceries to the poor and needy. About 100 widows are supported with groceries every month. Soon after the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020, 220,000 people were fed, and 27,000 grocery kits were provided to families.

Rural Education and Economic Development

REED is an approach taken by Sahayata Trust to eradicate poverty, inequality and illiteracy. Under this program, we have started 95 one-teacher schools and set up 5 school buildings. We also provide school bags and stationery to students. We provide teacher training to local residents and financial assistance to help deserving people set up their businesses as well.

Water Wells (TILL 2019)

Along with project REED, came the ‘Water Well Project’- a great need in the villages. Each well has the name of the donor inscribed on it. This can be done for your loved ones, a great way to earn SadaqatulJariyah (ongoing charity) that benefits us in this and the next life.
